So August is the month of changes for us! Anna will be starting her "real school" on August 18! What a big girl, she will be going to Cleveland Elementary. We are really excited but a little nervous, it's the beginning of a new stage in life, for her and us, and I am always unsure of changes. Hard to grip the concept of letting go sometimes. So Lily is making some leaps from baby to toddler this month as well! One of which being we are finally getting rid of the pacifier. I always said how gross it is to see toddlers running around with paci's in their mouths and talking through them and here I have one! It's just one of those things that means they really aren't the baby anymore. So today was the day "NO MORE PACI'S"! Our plan was round up all the paci's in a bag and give them to our newest friend Sydney Starr who joined us on July 26, 2005 (more about her later, another post with pics perhaps). Then after being paci free for a day maybe?, go and get her a new barbie for being such a big girl, after all she is 2. I guess it's about time. So today she was doing well up until naptime, not so much fun, she cried for about an hour and half. Poor girl, when I finally got her up, we were watching Winnie the Pooh on the couch and she leaned over and whispered so sweetly,"can I have a paci now?" Um, still no, sorry! She is doing pretty good though, we'll see how tonight goes. Next on the agenda is wearing big girl panties. We worked on it a bit today and hopefully we'll be there soon too! I'll keep you all posted on the subject and also get some pics of that sweet baby up soon!

paci= quiet= sane mom= happy kid.
Heck, there are time I wish I could still give all of them a paci.
"SHe's touching me mom." If I could should a paci in their 9 and 6 year old mouths and the bickering would stop...
please excuse the typos, Max likes to help me type.
