update

Here are a few pics from the zoo a couple weeks ago. It was pretty hot that day, but it has been fairly mild for us, with LOTS of rain this year. Until today that is. It is sooo hot with our fabulous oklahoma humidity! Our good old fashioned weather is now upon us! Although I am wondering if the overcast will ever go away so we can swim!

Hoping things will be looking up for this weekend, last weekend our car needed some major repairs costing us over 600 smackeroos. It actually died on the highway about 70 miles out of town while hubs was on his way to work last friday. And to top it off someone broke into it the night before and while we were somewhat lucky in the fact that they didn't take anything, it left us with a broken window, that still needs to be fixed!

Stella has been crawling for a few weeks now and we have realized that the end of her babyhood is now closing all around us. She didn't' go very far the first week or so, but now she is everywhere. I think you really just forget how much they get into to until you are reliving it! Man, she keeps us on our toes. Needless to say we have been keeping our floors extra clean since the movement has commenced! The dog hair is never ending, but don't even get me started! She also has been really babbling alot of mama and dada lately and even nana for anna, too cute! Waving bye and clapping hands on demand too! I love it when they really sort of start to understand you.

Lily has been loving her haircut, and has currently taken to sleeping in her new bikini, rather than pjs, go figure. She also goes through band aids like water which drives me a little crazy because I am always trying to tell her unless it's bleeding we don't want to waste a band aid, there is no reasoning with that girl sometimes though. Anna continues to grow up too fast and is still a huge help to me keeping a watchful eye out on the littlest sister and picking up after herself a little more. They both tend to be a bit mouthy at times, but that really is getting better. A little less huffing and puffing when we go places really helps. Here's to a better weekend! Is this summer flying by to anyone else? Can you even believe it's almost July?
