This is what we woke up to Sunday morning. Our street was one big lake or ocean as Lily was saying. Apparently a teenage girl was trying to drive through our yard this morning around 7:30 and our neighbor Kym woke her husband up to stop her from going through it. Anyways, he gets over to her and the inside of her car was completely flooded and she jumped out and jumped onto his back like a monkey, unfortunately we missed all of this because we were still in bed.
We got up around 8:30 and the fire dept was trying to find the drains and unplug them, they were unsuccessful, so it finally ended up draining on it's own, very slowly. Notice you can't even see that there is a median in the middle of the road.

that's crazy! and the most crazy part about it is it has happened lots of times!
that looks so strange! And I don't understand why they don't just keep the drains unplugged all the time?!?
That. Is. Awesome. (Well, as long as your house didnt get flodded or anything like that.)
