So life has been a little busy lately between ballet and doctors and dentist appts and etc. Lily starts gymnastics today and Anna starts soccer on saturday. So we are not slowing down anytime soon and it's sad to say Stella spends more time in the carseat than the bassinet. I hate that. You know our first kids had the life, I wouldn't have dare put Anna in her carseat to go anywhere until she woke up from her nap.

Stella had her one month appt on tues and she now weighs in at 8lbs and 11oz! She is fabulous other than the fact that she has a little cold. Stuffy baby nose=aspirator, she loves that you know! She had very first real smile on tuesday and it so made my day! That toothless goofy grin is the best! She is so aware and alert too, really looking around and listening when you talk to her!

Lily had a spill yesterday that did not make my day. I had just sat down to nurse Stella in my room and heard a thud and knew exactly what had happened in my head. Lily had fallen backwards off the back of the couch. I walked around the back of it to find her flat on her back staring blankly at the ceiling, sort of whimpering. By the way, Stella was still nursing, anyways, I reached down to help her up and she turned her head and closed her eyes. I thought she was thinking she was in trouble and she was being silly, nope not the case. She knocked herself out. I grabbed her arm and it was completely limp, so I scooped her up and started yelling at her to get her to come to. Anna came running down the stairs and I told her to get the phone from my room and I was still trying to wake her up. I swear to god I thought she was dead, for a second time stood still, laying on the floor with her and the baby, I thought what in the f***, she is really dead! I know it sounds really melodramatic but it was so scary holding her limp little body. Well it lasted all of about a minute, maybe more and she woke up okay, a little quiet, but okay. So, the doctor had us wake her up last night every two hours to make sure she was all good.

That is the extent of what the last few days have been like for me! I will post some pics soon.

Wow. That's a little scary. And all with a baby on the boob. That is some serious mom coordination skills. Glad she's okay.

When I was three my riding seat on the back of my mom's bike came unscrewed at the top (still connected at the bottom) and the whole seat fell backwards and I hit my head on the street while being dragged on the ground before my mom realized what happened. I remember realizing I was on the ground, being dragged, and watching the trees go by overhead. And my mom freaking out. Good times.

Never jokingly say to the kid, "knock yourself out", she may just do it! You forgot to mention this is the second time it's happened, that's what freaks me out the most!
