7 random things

I was tagged by Karen to do this meme and I'm glad because I can think of several random things easily and because I have never done one of these meme thingys before!

hmmm, let's see?

1. I do not have a dishwasher, yes you heard that right, I am the dishwasher! Crazy, I know. When we moved into this house almost 5 years ago, we had every intention of eventually putting one in, but still haven't. We live in an historic house with lots of cool little added bonuses if you will, one of them is definitely not the kitchen. We have gargantuan bedrooms, cool built in book shelves, but our kitchen is a little box of a room with a stove. There is simply no where to put it without taking away almost all existing cabinet space. Sure we could gut it and start all over but we haven't decided whether or not we should go that drastic in a house that we probably won't live in forever. Not to mention the cost of starting all over, kitchens are the most expensive rooms to make over! And there is the plumbing/electrical aspect as well. It sucks some days, but for the most part I am used to it.

2. I cannot sleep without a some sort of background noise, like a fan. I have also conditioned hub and kids to be the same way, terrible I know, but I cannot sleep in total silence, drives me bonkers! We even take a little fan with us on vacations!

3. I analyze everything and it's hard for me to make decisions! Even simple ones. For instance, I take forever just to figure out which brand, color, type of whatever to buy at Target! And then I sometimes end up putting it back before I even check out. The same goes for eating out, I like to see what everyone else orders before I do, weird! I am getting better at this, I think?

4. I met my husband when I was 15 and we have been together ever since. We didn't get married that young though, we're not that backwards here in Oklahoma! haha! We have been married for 9 years this August!

5. I too like to drink out of plastic cups. Chris likes to drink out of glasses, which sometimes pisses me off because I think glasses are harder to hand wash, probably because I sometimes tend to drop them while washing them and they break. Oh, and I also have to have ice for whatever I am drinking! A definite must!

6. I can't stand anything with aspartame in it! YUCK!

7. I am an only child, not really, but sort of, I have 6 half brothers and 1 half sister, I am the oldest! We range in ages from 31-13.
